Here’s a website that seeks to enhance the knowledge level of students beyond what their regular academic curriculum offers. The website aims to achieve this through competitions rather than adopt a lecture methodology.
In today’s environment, it is essential for a student to exhibit knowledge beyond books and learning. This website could be a guide by sensitising students on happenings around the world.
The website facilitates this by running weekly competitions that are fun to work at and challenging too. The competition methodology leads to better retention of facts. It would also be a great learning tool for a student to take up competitive exams.
Competitions are open for students studying in Stds VIII to XII. Participation is based on subscription.
Each competition is based on a unique theme ranging from Politics to Sports, and from Arts to Technology.
The last date for registration is August 31, 2008. The competitions are expected to start rolling by the mid- September.
