The historic Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib Gurdwara at Nanded saw the arrival of thousands of visitors as the tercentenary celebrations of Gurta Gaddi go on. Last Monday was celebrated as Bandi chod din (prisoner release day) commemorating the release of the sixth guru, Guru Hargobind, from Mughal captivity. The Gurta Gaddi celebrations have led to such a large turn out that a huge TV screen was installed for the benefit of those waiting to get inside the s hrine.
