Colour champs

The competition organised by Global Art India saw more than 1000 kids from across the country participating.


The third National Kolor Champ 2009 was recently organised by Global Art India at the Anna Adarsh Auditorium, Anna Nagar. More than 1,000 children from across the country participated. The contest, which tested the skills of children in the years between five and 15 years, was won by champions from eight different categories.

Global Art winners : Group A (Five to six years) Harshitha Duraibabu, Chennai; Group B (seven years) S. Kasthuri, Chennai; Group C (nine to 12 yrs) S. Bhaskar, Hyderabad; Group D (13 years and above) N. Siddarth, Chennai; Special Creativity Award was won by V.V. Mrinalini (Group C), Chennai.

The contestants from 35 Global Art Centres across nine cities in four states participated.

The event was inaugurated by Ms. Jayalakshmi Ramachandran, Principal, Anna Adarsh M.H.S.S.

Ms P. Rajeshwari Menon (Principal of SBOA Matriculation H.S.S., Chennai) distributed the prizes and felicitated the winners.
