Adhyapana School

Students of Adhyapana School, Madurai, began the academic year on a green note. They took part in “Science Week” celebration as part of World Environment Day. They presented activities related to protection of environment in the school assembly. They performed skits and chat shows on deforestation, Endosulfan and global warming.

A “Slogan Writing Contest” was conducted for children from Std. III. The week-long celebration ended with a “green march” to create awareness of environment protection, and a street play on the harmful effects of deforestation.
